You don’t know if it is possible to put powder into the drum of a washing machine? First of all, it is worth considering that the manufacturer not in vain developed a powder receiver (cuvette), otherwise this compartment simply was not structurally. But still, if you are not comfortable using it, you need to figure out whether or not you can put the product directly into the drum.
We add that many experienced users do not “take a steam bath” with this question on the network and advise pouring powder directly into the drum, although it will be written in black and white in any operating instructions that it is categorically not recommended. Who is right and whom to listen to?
What is the danger and why not?
If the manufacturer of washing machines insists that the powder be sent to a container for it, there is a reason.
Immediately we will justify the owners of the built-in AGRs - often after installing the machine in the headset, access to the dispenser is limited and there is no other way but throwing “chemistry” into the machine in an unnatural way.
If the headset door does not open at least 90 degrees, opening the tray is difficult
First, let's figure out what happens in the dispenser. After starting the wash, the first thing you can hear is the sound of water at the top of the machine. This water under pressure is fed into the cuvette. There she dissolves the powder and picks it up, sending it to the drum. The solid powder structure dissolves in a short time and, together with the foam formed under the pressure of water, is fed directly to the place of the “incident” - to the laundry.
Therefore, for the typewriter there is no special difference where you are going to put the product - in a cuvette or on clothes. And here for your things, such a wash may be the last - a large granule, not dissolved, can plant a spot on your favorite blouse. And if there are bleaches or some other aggressive means in the composition, stains can also form. In the case of proper loading, this will not happen - evenly dissolved liquid will carefully treat clothing.
This is how spots from colored granules look like.
If you are considering where to pour the pellets, for reasons of washing quality, you can send it to the machine in a special ball with holes. It can be a homemade jar or capsule. There will be no contact with the detergent, and the clothes will not suffer.

Observe measure and dosage
If the reason for your desire to pour the powder into the drum lies in the fact that it does not get out of the cuvette, then the matter is in the dosage. No need to try to fill the container to the top - follow the instructions on the packaging and clearly measure the right amount of the mixture using a measuring spoon or glass.

If for some reason you can’t remember the dosage, it is incomprehensibly painted on a pack and so on, then use the universal formula.
Formula: 1 kg of linen 1 tbsp. l facilities.
Observing even approximately this proportion and periodically washing the powder receptacle, you will avoid situations with its blockage and qualitatively wash clothes.
Useful tips for using the detergent tray
Usually there are no problems with which compartment to load “chemistry” into. In standard designs, the SMA compartment is located at the top left, and in vertical machines - in the side or on the inside of the door. But there are cars with not quite standard trays, which you can look at and guess for a long time, where, for example, is to fill in a liquid rinse aid or bleach.

Therefore, for beginners we will give some tips:
- All compartments are numbered. Usually it is I (prewash), I.I (main) and * (compartment for air conditioner or rinse aid).
- If you are used to pouring dry powder and something stays in the cuvette, wash or wipe it after each wash.
- The liquid product is softer, therefore it is the only thing that you can pour into the drum directly to the laundry without consequences. This applies to environmentally friendly fluids with a good composition. Aggressive "chemistry" pouring on things is not recommended.
- If you are not pouring liquid into a cuvette, always first put laundry in the machine, otherwise expensive liquid will spill through the drum openings directly into the tank.
- If you want to send "chemistry" along with clothes, pay attention to capsules - not a new, but not yet popular household chemistry, which combines detergent, bleach, and conditioner. Abandoned - and forgot. Of the drawbacks, cost often bites.
Most often, capsules are found in stores. Tide and Ariel
- If you have a semi-automatic machine, then you can safely send any "chemistry" to the washing department.
In activator washers there is usually no compartment for “chemistry”
In general, we still did not find a definite answer: it is recommended that dry powders be filled strictly into the powder collector, and you can already experiment with liquids - this is the conclusion of experts. In any case, you should not risk the first year of life of the washing machine - if suddenly a breakdown occurs during the warranty period and the service finds out that you did not follow the instructions, they can refuse a free warranty repair.
