What just doesn’t get into the washing machine along with dirty things! But what the resident of Illinois Sanela Kamenchich discovered in her washer scared her half to death. Opening the hatch door to unload the laundry after washing, the American was horrified: among the wet things, a small, but angry snake crawled after wet-soap procedures.
The police arrived at the call and hurried to take the reptile to the veterinary clinic for exotic animals in Chicago. After examining the snake, the veterinarian assured that, despite aggressive behavior, washing in the washing machine did not harm her health in any way. The only thing that she began to smell like fabric softener.
As it turned out later, the name of the snake is Penelope and she lives next door to Kamenchich. The owner of Penelope, a 12-year-old boy has been holding a corn snake as a pet for a long time, but it disappears for the first time.
Corn or grain snake is a non-toxic reptile, with an interesting color and, most importantly, has an easygoing disposition. Therefore, it is not surprising that many Americans keep this animal at home.
