Storage organization is a very useful thing. And it is not at all necessary to run headlong into Ikea in order to acquire a suitable organizer. A bit of ingenuity, a pinch of hard work - and literally from nothing you can build a "honeycomb" for shoes. She will no longer wallow in the closet!
Shoe storage
Each hostess has her own approach to storing shoes. One is put each pair in a company box. Another uses organizers, all kinds of boxes and baskets. But it also happens that the shoes just stand in the closet. And if there is a lot of steam, then she is lying there.
A small organizer will help radically change the situation. It is necessary to make "honeycombs" - cells for each pair. And then order will reign in the shoe cabinet. Making the device does not take much time - only 40-60 minutes spent with benefit. You can use your favorite TV series (music).
Option No. 1 - organizer from cardboard boxes
Surely at your place there is a forgotten box from household appliances. If not, you can get a couple of cardboard boxes at a nearby store. Usually nobody needs them, and sellers throw them away.
So, for the manufacture of "honeycombs" for shoes you will need:
- carton boxes;
- scissors;
- stationery or regular tape;
- Ruler and pencil;
- color tape (optional).
What do we have to do:
- We cut the box into rectangles 42x28 cm in size. The number of rectangles depends on the number of shoes. For one pair you will need two such cartons.
- Take each rectangle and measure 14 cm along the long side. We enclose a ruler and bend. Again we measure 14 cm and bend. The following workpiece will turn out:
- Glue the edges of the rectangle with tape. The result is a triangular cell.
- So that the edge does not delaminate, it can be pasted with simple or colored tape.
- We harvest the required number of cells.
- We put them together (according to the size of the cabinet).
- Tape around the circumference with tape for reliability. You can build small triangles into a large one and cover it with a cardboard “roof”.
- Arranging shoes.
But how to wash a cardboard organizer, you ask? No way. After some time, it will have to be taken to a landfill. Given the penny price of the device (the cost of tape), you can quite afford to make new cells once a season.
Option No. 2 - bottle organizer
Plastic bottles are perfect for making cells. Such an organizer can be washed under the tap, and it will last longer than a cardboard one.
For manufacturing you will need:
- with a dozen eggplants 4-5 l (1 pc. per pair of shoes);
- stationery knife;
- hot glue or tape;
- lighter with a long nose or a candle.
We make shoe organizer:
- Cut the narrow part of the bottle with a knife.
- Lightly melt the cut edge with a lighter or candle until smooth.
- We coat one of the sides of the eggplant with hot glue and glue the second bottle. Thus, you can glue a square, rectangle or pyramid.
- If you have adhesive tape, then first it is better to connect two bottles, and then wrap the entire structure.
- Done!
The bottle organizer can be ennobled by painting it with spray paint.
What else can be used to make the organizer?
You can cut a wide plastic pipe, and then you get beautiful round cells for storing shoes.
Why not just buy the right furniture?
Unfortunately, this is not always possible. For example, if the family lives in a rented apartment and the owner is against the purchase of new furniture. Or corny lack of cash.
A homemade organizer is ideal for storing shoes in the country, in the work room, in the apartment. The design can be hidden in a closet or just put in the hallway. With this storage method, it does not crumple. And you can easily find the right pair. You won’t have to break through the entire cabinet or, even worse, get all the boxes and take turns looking into them.
